Large attendance at Hamilton PFL Roadshow
Updates / Community , 10 Jul 24
Over 150 members of the Hamilton community gathered at the K’Aute Fale on a chilly evening. This session marked the second gathering in the North Island, featuring lively group discussions and open floor sessions.

Throughout the evening, a diverse array of topics was addressed, including health, education, financial independence, racism, and the housing crisis. Families expressed their current challenges and aspirations for improvement, both for themselves and future generations.

Lisa Tai, Group Chief Operating Officer of the Pasifika Medical Association (PMA), concluded the event by summarising the key points discussed, acknowledging significant room for improvement while highlighting progress made and having our faith at the core of everything we do.

Among the attendees was Dr Jitoko Cama, PMA Group Director, who echoed agreement with the discussions and highlighted the importance of supporting Pasifika families.

The team’s next stop will be in Auckland where there will be two sessions held. The first session will be on Thursday 11th July. Keep up to date with our PFL Roadshow on our Facebook page or Instagram
