Updates / Community , 14 May 24
Over the weekend, Ōtāhuhu College and Tangaroa College went head-to-head on the rugby field, kicking off the National Secondary Schools 1XV season for 2024. Through Pasifika Futures' sports strategy, delivered in partnership with Ah Mau Sports and Wellbeing, both schools were provided with sports and training equipment in preparation for the upcoming year.

As both teams showcased their skills on the field, students, families, and local supporters gathered to cheer on their respective teams.

Amidst the friendly rivalry, there was also a palpable sense of community spirit, with spectators from both schools coming together to celebrate the talent and dedication displayed by the young athletes.

Overall, it was a fantastic day for rugby and a great reflection of collaboration and support in empowering youth through sport.
